Fantastic Fairy Tales with Madcap Puppets

Flump, King’s Royal Court Jester, accidentally overhears a plot by the wizard Glistor to turn the King into a mouse.  As he entertains and amazes the audience with fantastic fairytales, Flump tries to discover a way to save the King.

The stories included are The Wishing Tree, The Water of Life and Rapunzel.

Old Time Rock 'n Roll

Jeff Rutter from Chicago is very talented and takes us on a trip down memory lane playing everything from Elvis to Deep Purple. His program is entertaining, fun, interactive and humorous. Audiences of all ages love this show. Even young children recognize lots of the old rock and roll songs, often featured in current movies.

Binder Park Zoomobile

Animals - Dig Deeper!  Come join the Binder Park Zoo for a special live animal presentation with real live zoo animals.  Together we will be uncovering the secrets that allow some animals to live underground.

Frisbee Dogs: The Flying Aces

Dogs and people need to exercise their bodies and their brain more. Playing frisbee is a very inexpensive way to do that for both. This frisbee dog show will teach how to play fetch with your dog, either with a frisbee or any other object. Three dogs will be featured.

Digging into Michigan Natural History

Enjoy a hands-on adventure into Michigan’s past with Paul Rheaume, ever-popular area science teacher. At this program, families can wander from station to station to explore the wonderful natural history of our Great Lake State of Michigan.

Participate in fun activities that include volcano simulation, glacier goop fun, sand paintings, and fossil rubbings. There will also be a chance to make a variety of Native American and Pioneer model homes and toys.

Rumpelstiltskin with Stevens Marionette Puppets

This fast paced, action filled, rhyming rendition of the classic tale, follows the Miller as he weaves a web of lies to convince the King that his daughter can spin straw into gold. These marionettes were authentically created in the traditional old world style, specializing in classic children's literature and fairy tales.
