What is the Books By Mail Program?

The Books By Mail Program provides library materials to library patrons who are homebound due to extended illness or disability or those living in assisted care facilities. The service is free of charge. The program provides participants with access to a wide range of materials including large print and regular print books, CD books, playaways, magazines, and music on CD.

Who is eligible?

  • Any person eligible for a Willard Library card AND
  • Unable to visit the library due to an extended illness, disability, or medical concerns.

Here is how it works:

Materials are either delivered in person by a volunteer or sent by U.S. mail with a return postage paid envelope to return borrowed materials.
